Need some emergency advice! is my rabbit injured?

I think the most important thing to look out for: -Eating, drinking -Healthy poops -And the way he is moving. If you don't notice anything during his movement (not using leg, limping etc..) he is probably ok Addittional tip: You can carefully smooth your hand around his whole body just to check...

    Sneezing (thymoma found as cause)

I vacuum clean their place every morning as a routine. Im in no position right now to take her to the vet. For like 4 - 5days. My partner is having a surgery and my buns tend to have gut stasis after vet visit. So I would only take her if its an emergency.

    Sneezing (thymoma found as cause)

Nothing new was introduced. Samenberger hay was the newest thing that I have introduced like 3-4 months ago. Non smoking environment. Eye discharge only the right eye, but that has been for more like half a year. Visited the exotic vet numerous times (and 2 of them actually) and they didn't...

    Sneezing (thymoma found as cause)

Hello everyone, So my female bunny started sneezing. 3 days ago she had a sneezing fit (like 10-20 sneezing in a row) and after that 1 every 2 hours. She sneezes very loudly (and strangley she emits this same sound when yawning). After this day for 2 days she only sneezed like 2 3 times per...

Female Bunny not eating pellets, losing weight.

Finally was able to talk to the Vet. He told me that wait a few days she might get better since we stopped the antibiotic. If she doesn't get well, maybe we can do an xray or teeth recheck (teeth was checked 3 weeks ago)

Female Bunny not eating pellets, losing weight.

I can no longer reach the Vet (They are telling me that he will call me back but he doesnt, and Ive been trying to reach him for like 3 days).... We reached the 7th day of the antibiotic cure that was prescribed (to give 2x for 7 days) so we are no longer giving her. Yesterday she ate hay for 4...

    Vaccines?

Hello, In Hungary we do have: Pestoryn Mormyx and Nobivac: both of them for the same type of disases. Nobivac is stronger and only needs 1 shot per year, however it is much more likely to wear down the bunnies for a few days. Pestoryn Mormyx on the other hand is weaker and needs to be repeated...

    Bunny not eating

My advice for feeding: Hay (unlimited amount, Water (unlimited) and some pelletts 2 times per day (I would say 1 tablespoon, but really depends on the weight of the rabbit). On cost: How about calling the vet, being honest and tell them that you lack the money, but you will pay it further down...

Female Bunny not eating pellets, losing weight.

Also on switching pellets: She would only eat the new one, soooo. Maybe gradually offering her? Like 1 2 pieces a day. and then increasing it?

Female Bunny not eating pellets, losing weight.

Basil leafs is what she gets from time to time. She really likes that. Also CC 3x times per day (3ml per session), and yesterday we started giving probiotic as well (3 hours after giving her the antibiotic). My main reason not giving much fresh stuff is that previously they had problems when...

Female Bunny not eating pellets, losing weight.

She is accepting the cuni adult pellets but not the oxbow one...... (Of course I only gave here a tiny piece, since her stomach is not used to it)

She stopped eating hay as well. Force feeding her. Could be the antibiotics?

    weird poop during shedding

According to our vet its really useful and she gives her own bunnies these tablets. According to her its really effective for getting the fur through the rabbit. My own experience: really positive. Never had any kind of "stuck fur" situation (6 years since I have my rabbits). It should be given...

Just tried a different pellett (Cuni adult). She doesn't accept that either.

Mine had these like 10+ times. I usually give them oxbow digestive support tablets. (1 per day)

Female Bunny not eating pellets, losing weight.

Another example of behaviour: Right now I gave their portion of pellets and she only ate like 10-15 pieces, went back to her little house and after 5 minutes she went eating hay. So yeah im really puzzled..........
