Thing is, "play on" is not the same aseating! Online studies tend to state that this herbicide is "largely"harmless to rabbits....

Kinda gross - bunny poo ?

No timetable for improvement, depends partly on how much you cut back at a time. There is no established schedule that i know of for cuttingback but i'd get it down to the minimum in a week or so (any othersuggestions?, anyone). Make sure he has as much tasty hay ashe'll eat to make up the...

    Help!!!

It's a common misconception that fixing a rabwill eliminate its territorial instinct. Not so. Generally it willreduce or eliminate marking with urine, but a rab will ALWAYS continuemarking with droppings, some more than others.

Kinda gross - bunny poo ?

Pellets should have 16% protein at the most, less is better. Ingredients are listed on the bag. Even lower protein pellets might cause excess cecals if therab eats too much of them. Overfeeding pellets seems to be oneof the most common mistakes made by bun owners, possiblybecause 1/8-1/4 cup...

Kinda gross - bunny poo ?

Various possible causes, but i'd cut down on thepellets. At her age unless she's a large breed she should only have1/4-1/2 cup a day. I'd start with the 1/2 cup & taper down to1/4 in a week or so,, then see how the poo is. If you later slowly addgreens she may only need 1/8 cup pellets. See...

    litter box dilemma

Not being spayed could be part of the problem. Have you "seeded" the box with droppings & strips of urine-soaked paper?

how to introduce a rabbit to a pot belly pig

Check your local zoning laws before getting one. Farm animals may be prohibited. They can be dolls - i went up to one in a pet shop & startedscratching it behind its ear & it fell right over in bliss!:)

Can Rabbits have Guinea Pig pellets?

Is Ethoxyquin in the KT Timothy Cubes? I've always fed them. Ordering 25 lb lots of hay thru the mail must cost... That makes me very sad, my last bun contracted intestinalcancer....Ethoxyquin? However my first bun lived to be 10. Shecontracted cervical cancer because i had no info then about...

Can Rabbits have Guinea Pig pellets?

The Small Animal Pellets can be found in many pet shops. As for rabbit pellets, i would say they should simply be a very smallpart of the diet anyway, about 1/8-1/4 cup/day for the average bun. Ihave no hard evidence as to the quality of various brands. I suspectthere are a few that are...

    CT Rabbit Savvy Vets

One possibility would be to network with other bun owners in the area. Possibly put notices up at feed stores or in ad flyers, etc., seeking those with experiences at the clinic. A phone call to the UConn Dept. of Vet Science might be helpful: 486-4000. Or they may provide further leads. (Note...

    CT Rabbit Savvy Vets

Anyone with bad experiences with Bolton Clinic, please PM me. Some people are happy with them & i used to go there myself before i moved. Of course things can go wrong in any practice but a pattern of problems is another matter. Is there any vet organisation that collects complaints...

    CT Rabbit Savvy Vets

Norwichtown Animal Hospital in Norwich has a good rabbit recommendation. Not very close to me, however. Any info about Bolton would be appreciated - i'd like to go there & used to, it's closer...

    hay mess!

Yes, "all hay, every day!" The last thing i do wit Daisy at night is make sure she as a KT Tim Cube to tide her over til morning (she gets her veggies too, after a long evening of romping.)

    hay mess!

I've mostly fed KayTee Timothy cubes. Very little to clean up. Even with shipping it's cheaper by mail than at the supermarket. I split it up a little, some smaller buns find it hard to get into.

    Wonky Sammy

It may not fix itself - it could be an infection which is not being knocked out, as mentioned above. The vet should take a second look or i'd get a second opinion.
