Almost lost my baby boy due to a BOTCHED neuter at a low cost clinic -- you get what you pay for

Just have to say, out of personal experience, I agree with going to a vet that deals with exotics. I took my overdue rabbit to a vet that does dogs and cats (we took our other rabbit who needed stitches there, so thought it was a good place, guess not when it comes to things less basic then...

    Help with babies! ASAP

Looks like the one you're pointing to in the second photo might be a peanut, but I can't be too sure, it might just be a runt. And I think they all look fine. I've had a few more wrinkly kits than others, so don't worry about that. ;) They sure are cuties! Glad mom is feeling better! She does...

    What are your favorite breed?

Why, are you looking into adding another furry family member? ;):D

    Help with babies! ASAP

She's probably still moody, happens a lot with my buns after giving birth, but I reach in and handle the babies anyways, and the moms don't mind, just as long as I leave the mom alone. Give her a treat or some hay to keep her busy if it really worries you, but just check to see they're all alive...

    What are your favorite breed?

Actually, they stay pretty clean. It's only really after hopping in mud, or in a water puddle that they get dirty. One of my velveteens has long ears, and sometimes she'll step on them when hopping around, poor girl! :D But for the most part, by buns (especially my girls) like to stay clean...

    Help with babies! ASAP

You can handle the babies, especially if the mom is friendly with you. Any success with the babies?

    What are your favorite breed?

Okay, so it is holland, not mini lop!

    Help with babies! ASAP

Oh, my bad. My Velveteen Lops and Mini Rex have had more success with first time litters, none of my NDs have had successful first time litters.

    Help with babies! ASAP

Hello! To answer your questions, I handle my babies the day of birth, even right after the mom is done, and never had a problem with the mom abandoning them. This is true for wild rabbit kits though, so do not touch wild baby rabbits. I honestly dont know too much about Mini Lops, but I do...

    What are your favorite breed?

Oh, the Velveteen Lops have bodies like the English Lop, and the plush Lops have bodies of a Mini Lop, I believe it is. I’ll have to double check it’s not a Holland

    What are your favorite breed?

I am partial to the Velveteen Lops, a newer breed not yet recognized in the ARBA. I love the Mini Rex's and ND, I actually raise all three. The V-lops I find just have the most sweetest puppy-dog temperament, and they are so soft and cute with their long lop ears. Beautiful buns. I also like the...

Help, rabbit gave birth to one rabbit

You're right, it is harder to keep one kit alive, because they need warmth. If you haven't already, I suggest bringing in the mom and baby, and helping the mom make a nest. Lots of hay, and you can help her pull her fur. It won't her her too much since their fur loosens to make a nest, and its...

Please help to gender my ickle nethies

Hello! The photos are a bit blurry, so I'm not really able to say for sure, but I think the second one is a buck, and the third a doe. Again, this is just a guess, photos aren't very clear, and the first one I can't tell at all. Maybe someone else on the forums can see? Sorry I'm not very...

Pregant rabbit still hasn't had birth.

Yay!! You usually won't ever see her nursing, but they should have big round tummies.
