    baby bunnies moving

I am just wondering if you will always see baby bunnies moving in the mum. I have never once seen the baby bunnies move in either female rabbit I've had. Or is it maybe because I just don't look at the right time? I read that you may often see the babies moving and kicking inside the mum at a...

    Hey, New Here!

Welcome, it's nice to have you with us. Yes, baby bunnies are very rewarding. I'm still waiting for my bunny to Kindle, she was due on the weekend, or today, so hopefully sometime soon.

    peeing when pregnant

Does anyone know if pregnant rabbits pee more? I never noticed it with the other female rabbit I had years ago. But Bella seems to be peeing heaps more than she was when she wasn't pregnant.

    Long lasting rabbit toys??

I have a couple of homemade toys for my bunny, and she seems to enjoy them pretty well. So I got some rabbit-safe wood, and my brother cut it into a cylinder shape, like below, he then cut a hole through the middle lengthways, from top to bottom, then he cut it in half lengthways (top to...

    Veggies

Hello all, I give my Bunny veggies about twice or three times a week. I give her about 4 slices of cucumber, about a quarter of a leaf of cabbage, and then about 5 stalks of Broccoli (like when you cut it into flowerets), without the heads, like in the picture below. I am wondering if this is...

Safe herbs for a bunny prone to stasis

Hi, Fresh Dandelion flowers and stalks from the lawn are great for bunnies, as they help immune systems, and the digestive track, (Vitamin C), you might not have any around. Fresh Parsley and Basil, are nice gentle herbs for bunnies, and they really enjoy them, and great for digestion.

    Clothes biting, need help!

You could try stomping your hand on the floor, or table, or wherever you are at the time. I know it sometimes works, as bunnies stomp when they are upset, so you can do this with your hand, and it sometimes connects with them and helps them stop. I'm not sure about any other ideas. I just...

    pregnant bunny

Thank you, I just was hoping the slowing down part wasn't her getting sick or some other reason. I've only ever experienced one other pregnant bunny about 3 years ago, and she never seemed to slow down. But that is reassuring, that slowing down and more resting is a normal thing. Thank you...

    pregnant bunny

I think Bella, my mini lop has gotten into her moody stage of pregnancy. At times she hops to another side of her pen when I open it up, and other times she hops over like her normal self. I sometimes try and coax her over with a treat, but, no, she's not going to have it. She used to be...

What colour are these "ticked" babies from a self + otter?

Yes, I was thinking there was a bit of ticking on Mum's sides. Mum also looks like she has a bit of that gold, browny color on her belly

An abandoned hare kit is on the way, I have no idea what to do.

watered down goat's milk seems to work quite well for hare kits, actually even rabbit kits it works well. So for about 3 Tbps of goats milk, I did about 1 Tbsp of water
