    Waterproof flooring?

Well, here was the initial pen layout and flooring. Being checked out by Pippen the night before Willow arrived. Pippen chewed holes in the table cloth within two days.

    Waterproof flooring?

What are some waterproof "flooring" options everyone likes? Unfortunately my female bunny is not super good with the litter box, particularly poop and more irritatingly, sometimes pee. So I'd like to put down something water proof for the floor of their pen. I tried a vinyl table cloth first but...

    Willow and Pippen bonding progress/questions

I separated them last night but re-opened the barrier this morning. Willow even seemed to want it open this morning! They have done great all day and I am going to leave both sides open tonight I think. Don't want to jinx it and I'll watch extra carefully for a few more days but I think they are...

    Willow and Pippen bonding progress/questions

They've now been together for almost 3 hours and are getting along well. Willow is now not running away from Pip, even letting him cuddle a bit and walk or stand next to her and he has stopped trying so hard to be in her face.

    Willow and Pippen bonding progress/questions

I just reworked the pens to allow them to be joined. So far they are doing good with it. Willow still won't let Pippen get super close to her but doesn't seem stressed. And Pippen isn't chasing her too much. Think I'll leave it this way for the evening, there are no areas Pippen can corner her...

    Willow and Pippen bonding progress/questions

Willow and Pippen just had their second face to face date. It went decently. Pippen is in lurve but Willow is much more skeptical. No aggression though at least.

    Willow and Pippen bonding progress/questions

Background: I am fostering to adopt Pippen, a 5 month old fixed male Hotot. I adopted Willow, a 7 month old fixed female lionhead and hoping they will bond. I received them both within the past week and within a few days of each other. Because I got them so close together, I figured there was...

Hello! New here with lots of annoying newbie questions

Got some pictures while Willow was grooming this morning, they are kind of crummy. I did end up officially adopting her. Which kind of really screws up my plans to slowly buy everything that I wanted to make up a nice enclosure and go easy on our budget. So it's pretty minimal setups at the...

How much does a vet visit & spay/neuter cost for a Rabbit?

In my part of Idaho, US, a regular office visit check up is a flat $45 to $55, depending on vet office, any additional shots, meds or tests cost extra on top of that. A spay is around $170 for a female and a neuter is $140 for a male. The flat office visit/exam may or may not be applied to that...

Hello! New here with lots of annoying newbie questions

Ugh, finally home and got her settled in. I really, really hate road work and semi's that think they need to pass each other! But Willow is an absolute doll and a totally chill rabbit, well worth the drive! I'll get pics tomorrow.

Hello! New here with lots of annoying newbie questions

Ugh, not really looking forward to the drive but I'm picking up Willow tomorrow. Had hoped they'd be able to find someone coming this way to send her with but instead I'm going to play courier. They've got someone wanting to adopt a pair of giants from the chapter closer to me that are in the...

Hello! New here with lots of annoying newbie questions

Good bonding vibes, please! (And yes, I'm reading like crazy about bonding.) So, I'm not entirely sure how this happened but I was talking to the rabbit rescue, asked about maybe adopting a real pretty little Siamese colored lionhead at one of the sister chapters and somehow that evolved into...

Hello! New here with lots of annoying newbie questions

I picked up my first foster last Wed. Little shy 1 year old lionhead mix. She's black with one white front foot. Came from a hoarding situation and is scared of people. So far I'm making some progress on winning her over with treats. (fresh greens.) So far I'm thinking that I will definitely...

Just picked up my first foster!

Aspen is feeling more brave around people today and though I didn't catch in on video or anything, she just did the first binky I've ever seen from her! And it was stinking cute, LOL. She jumped straight up and double kicked all 4 feet together twice before landing. Still won't approach anyone...
