That’s actually pretty accurate. He’ll keep darting in front of her to try to get her to play chase and if she doesn’t want to deal with it, she’ll jump the barrier to leave the room.😁

Our 17-18 year old cat is the same way. The bunny (10months) will follow her everywhere and when she gets tired of it she’ll bop him on the head with a paw. She never extends her claws when she bops him though (maybe she senses he’s a child in age compared to her)

I’m sorry for your loss and definitely don’t rush if you aren’t ready for a new one. My first rabbit passed 10+ years ago. I wasn’t ready to get another until this year. My family (brother and I) personally made the decision with our parents assent and we definitely don’t regret it.

If you got a male in March, he’d probably be at least 6 months old by now. I got my bunny at 8 weeks in late February, he’s now 10 months. He definitely could be neutered in that case but you need to consult a vet.

Filled it in for my first rabbit, Bandit. Minyeong is 10months so not old enough for the survey.

I agree with @John Wick, slow is definitely best. Maybe it you can try training the puppy (distracting him so he’s interested in a toy or something else) where your bunny can just watch him and get used to how he acts. Maybe with a barrier she can see through at the beginning. Then she can get...

My bunny tipped over bowls too. Then I walked into a Petsmart and found a bowl with rounded edges. It looks kind of like this but more round. He tried to knock it over but couldn’t and gave up. If you walk into a petsmart, you’ll probably find others like it. They aren’t expensive either...
