New mom has killed a baby help

She could be killing her babies due to stress. Sometimes mothers will kill or eat their babies if they feel the environment is not safe. Either that or she is just a bad mom. Decrease stress in the area, and if it still happens again then you know.

Any dog breed you wouldnt own, and which breed would you love to have

Dogs I would never own: Yorkies, Poodles, Shitzus, Pekinese, Maltese, Cockapoos, chihuahuas, Rat terriers. Basically any type of small dog that’s too fragile and could have potential to be a brat for no cause. Dogs I would own: Huskies, Rottskies (I have one), Rottweilers, Malamutes...

Dog walker saves rabbits from being thrown in the river

Wtf?! Why???????? They could’ve just found them a different home or just have them live free range somewhere. I know a woman who has tame rabbits running free on her property and she just throws vegetables and hay out and they come and eat it up. She also has a garden that they run around in...

    Neutering

Rabbits don’t do as well as other animals after being fixed, and the stress from it can cause problems sometimes. Keep a close eye on him. It might just be that he’s stressed out and will get over it in a few days. If it doesn’t go away in a few days take him back to the vet.

Any Tips For first time breeders

They’re beautiful! I think they’ll make great babies. I had a mixed breed litter once by accident (Lionhead X Dwarf Hotot) and all of them found great homes. Make sure you start advertising them before they’re ready to go. That way they find homes quickly once they’re ready to go.

    Euthanization

If you can’t do it yourself you could also just take the rabbit to the vet.

Young bun won't stop attacking me!!

Cancer still happens in neutered rabbits, just other parts instead of the testicles. I wouldn’t risk a surgery on any of my rabbits, as there’s always atleast a small chance they won’t wake up. But that’s just me. If you find a vet that is well versed in rabbits the risk can be majorly reduced.

Young bun won't stop attacking me!!

Just wait until he mellows out. I have a little buck I use for breeding so I never neutered him and he was aggressive at first, but he’s getting better now. Bunnies mature with age. In the wild they go threw the same thing for the first few months of having their balls in. If you don’t plan on...

    New breeder. Looking for advice.

It’s not freezing, but it is cold. Around in the low 40s. I’ve looked for someone who would lend their buck, but the other breeders around here don’t seem to be very open to that.

    New breeder. Looking for advice.

Hello, just joined this website. I've just started breeding my rabbits and am looking for some advice from the older breeders. I'm only 17 and my mom just started allowing me to breed them. Everything is going pretty well, but my doe isn't having babies yet for some reason. My doe is 2 years...
