    Sneezing Question

It's definitely not white like the picture. And although he sneezed some yesterday, I didn't notice any yellow discharge. As you suggest, I think it's just dust hay or rabbit pellet dust. I'll keep an eye on it but thanks for the input.

Pink-Eyed Rabbit Swaying Head - Will it worsen?

@JBun thanks for the input. We've had her at the vet but not specifically for the eye condition. We will look into that. She is bonded to a male (neutered) rabbit. They've been together since we got them. I have noticed that they don't cuddle as much as they used to. She still grooms him...

    Sneezing Question

I've been reading through posts about sneezing and before I schedule a vet visit, I wanted to get some input Our buck, 6 months old, has had sneezing fits since we've had him (5-10 times a day, usually only 2-3 sneezes at a time). It has not gotten any worse since we've had him. It happens...

Pink-Eyed Rabbit Swaying Head - Will it worsen?

Our doe has either pink or ruby eyes (pink I think). She is 5 1/2 months old and has swayed her head since we've had her. Reading a couple of good articles and discussions have, somewhat, eased my mind - at least I know its a known trait. We've had her about 4 months and the swaying seems to...

    Rabbit sneezing

@John Wick and @Blue eyes, I've been reading through posts about sneezing and before I schedule a vet visit, I wanted to see what you all thought. Our buck, 6 months old, has had small sneezing fits since we've had him (5-10 times a day, usually only 2-3 sneezes at a time). It has not gotten...

Is natural bamboo okay for bunnies to eat ?

I was wondering how your rabbits liked the bamboo? I ran across sweet bamboo sticks and then saw your post. I've got a rabbit that's always looking for something new.

    We're Quin and Maggi

We're Quin and Maggi. We are mini plush lops who just moved from Illinois to Arkansas. Our new bunny parents (BPs) are the @Ryes and they seem to be really nice. Just when we were getting used to our space, we had to leave for a visit to the vet. She's cool and knows a lot about our kind. The...

2023/2024 Indoor Cages/Spaces... add your photo!

I just finished our rabbits' space. We are picking them up tomorrow morning; two mini plush lops. We're going to see how they do together but we're prepared in case we have to separate them until we get them neutered and spayed. Eventually they will free roam the house most of the day. But...

    hay storage

I'll be following the answers for this. We are setting up for two new rabbits and I'm planning to use this compressed bale from TSC. My plan was to use a sealed plastic storage container hoping that the hay would last until it was gone.

    good carrier recommendations??

I'm glad to hear we will be able to use the same carrier for long trips; and thanks for addressing trip stops. For longer trips, will they just switch out using the small litter box at the back or should we expect to be cleaning up a mess during or after a long trip? Also, if we use bowls for...

    good carrier recommendations??

We will be getting one the size that you, @John Wick, and @catneedham1994 mentioned. But is this big enough for a 7-8 hour road trip? We do this a couple of times a year and want to make sure they have enough room. Also, what about exercise stops on a long trip? How often?

    good carrier recommendations??

@SableSteel what size transport cage would you recommend for two bonded mini lops? This would be for a 7-8 hour trip a couple of times a year.

    Setting up for new rabbits

From what I've read, every rabbit has its own personality so we will have to learn ours after we get them. I like the play yard floor cover for the exercise pen. Can you put it in the laundry? The description didn't say. Also, what size is it?

    Good litter boxes

I may try a corner litter box around the house when they are free-roaming but will be going with a rectangle or square box in their area since we will have two and based on this information.

    Good litter boxes

I'm trying to make sure they are in the 18"x24" (18" both sides and 24" across) range. @Blue eyes referenced. I didn't see any corner ones in that article. Maybe some others will chime in on this.
