Not drinking water at all !

he's five years old, has been living in Turkey for all his life and appears healthy? Why are you worrying? if it's not enough he wouldn't be okay. I live in southern western Ontario with lots of humidity and hot days and my rabbits eat and drink less when those two are combined as well...

    Can rabbits swim?

YES, rabbits can swim. Some quite enjoy it. you won't know until you see what YOUR rabbit is like. thing is to be smart about it. don't just pick your bunny up and dump him in the pool (chlorine not the best for bunnies). BUT if you have a small kiddie pool or a puddle of water and your...

What Is Happening Here? - Help with kits

rabbits can be bred when they are READY to be bred. that can be 4 months, or it can be 7 months. Rabbit attitude makes a difference. Checking their vent helps too. If they are 75% of their adult weight they are big enough to breed, but watching them change from young bunny attitude to older...

Introducing dog to rabbit, need advice

keep them separate. not worth the risk. lock bunny in a bedroom keep dog on a short leash so you can grab him fast if need be. Try not to introduce them. A yappy barky dog could cause too much stress.

    2 bunnies?

before you jump in with both feet ask yourself this question.. if the bond does not go well or breaks down with nasty repercussions (bites, wounds etc) are you prepared 1. for a possible vet visit with bills? 2. to house two rabbits separately for the rest of their lives.

    male humping!

get him a stuffy. Seriously. A couple of stuffies, dump them in the wash and he'll be just fine. Just make sure children don't play with HIS stuffies. :) And just so you know... many male rabbits do not spray. that fact that he is four months is .. he's a teenager. Feeling his oats a...

    Mouse nest - need advice!

if they are getting into your traps they are old enough to be transported. :) Just because you are seeing juveniles doesn't mean they are the same ones. They grow quickly and reproduce just as quickly. if you need them gone you may need to up the ante a bit and live trap, dead trap, glue...

    Rabbits turned aggressive overnight

hmm... they suddenly grew up? Some rabbits are highly territorial and its impossible to say which when they are young. Even neutered doesn't remove that completely.. and my guess is one of your boys suddenly realized he was a boy and ANOTHER BOY was in his space! He wanted him out and did...

It's all about the poop !

Sounds like an overproduction of cecatrophes. He's not eating them because he doesn't need them. Sometimes as rabbits mature their bodies change as well. Their dietary needs change, as does how they process the food they eat.

My Rabbit just died and I don't know why.

we can't tell you why she died. Sounds like an older rabbit who just passed away quietly.. which is way better than suffering for a while first.

    Mouse nest - need advice!

sounds like you have voles.. they catch fairly easily in live traps.. trick is to bait the path to the trap. Check it daily. You need to take them a good couple of miles away and leave them in a well wooded grassy area. Do not pass them along to your neighbours. :)
