    X rays?

We’ve had xrays done on a few of our rabbits over the years. It wasn’t a problem, I mean the vet did not have to anesthetize them.

    Need advice

I’ve never seen this in any of our litters. Watch it and if it gets bigger you should probably get advice from a vet.

Rabbit has eye problem, need help

The water you use to wash the eye should be sterilized first, or you can use a saline eye wash. For antibiotic eye treatments we’ve used Terramycin which a vet gave us. You might also find something at a feed store.

White diarrhea, lethargic, 14 days old

It sounds like he has mucoid enteritis, which at his age will be lethal if he doesn’t get to a vet right away.

Weight wise, Hollands are considered adult at 6 months, and generally max 4 lbs.

False dwarf Holland, or mini lop?

No, Holland’s pose with their head up and mini’s pose low on the table with head down.

2 week holland kit has odd legs

Sounds genetic and I would not repeat that breeding again. The other siblings, though normal, might carry this to their offspring and I would hesitate to use any for breeding. If you sell or pet out any of them you need to disclose this.

    Fur mites

If he has mites you might be able to see tiny black specks around his neck and shoulders. That’s usually where they gather.

    Scratched eye

You can get saline solution or a sterile eye wash and try to rinse out the eye. The vet can give you drops or antibiotics if needed.

False dwarf Holland, or mini lop?

Looks like a mini lop to me. Holland’s have shorter ears.

    Buck or doe

How old is it? Try putting one finger above and one just below, and push in a little, it would be easier to tell.

    Rabbits bonding instead of breeding?

I agree that table breeding might be your only option for those two. It’s also possible she is done with breeding. We had a 6 year doe who was great at being bred, a great mom, and I thought I’d get one last litter from her before retiring her. She had other ideas...she wouldn’t cooperate and...

Need help with weight loss and paralisis

If she spends time out in grass it wouldn’t hurt to get a fecal test done to look for worms.

    Snuffles?

Snuffles is very contagious. If you have any other rabbits they should all be tested/treated. It might be Oreo had it and developed into pneumonia. Just watch them all closely.

Should I Choose A Doe or A Buck To Upgrade The Quality?

This probably would’ve been more suited to the Rabbitry area... but I do think there are different ways to look at it. I placed more value on my does because I can use different bucks with one doe to find the best combination. Ideally, you want the best trio you can for your foundation rabbits.

pros / cons to deworming rabbits

In our experience youngsters up to about 12 weeks are at risk of developing gastrointestinal stress (enteritis). After that their gut has usually developed enough to handle stress and new things. If you want to be careful with this one I’d suggest keeping it off the grass just so you don’t have...

Should I Choose A Doe or A Buck To Upgrade The Quality?

Just my opinion but you want both doe and buck to be good quality/type; however, if you could only afford one at a time I’d choose to get the best doe you can afford first. In our experience the characteristics of the doe come through the kits more often, but you still will need good type bucks.
