My new Giant Flemmish bites ......

They are not all housed together. I have three bonded pairs, 7 that are alone, then the rest are babies with mom and siblings, or just siblings. I am trying to adopt some of them out (about 20). I rescued some abandoned buns and went from 3 to 31 VERY QUICKLY. We had to put one down - he...

My new Giant Flemmish bites ......

When you have rabbits that bite, they are one of a few things: aggressive, trying to show dominance, scared. If you have a rabbit coming up to you and biting breaking skin/bleeding they are aggressive or showing dominance. If you GENTLY hold them down and "growl" at them you are showing...

Excuse the long post but AAAHHHH bunnies!!! Well everyone here has HIT IT ON THE HEAD!!! Affectionate without annoyance Soft, full of personality, funny to watch, smart, sweet (with a bit of a spunk), not too smelly (unless you have too many, my issue at this time - trying to adopt out :) ;)...

Age to determine *** of young kits

SO sweet. They look my sweet binks...binks in the gray/white/black bunny and his "brother" Tigger. I have had them for about 5 years and the boys are only now loving on each other. Binks loves every bunny we have, but they don't always love back...it's been nice to see them together like...

    Tips on shedding rabbits?

Ypu can try the dog glove it helps...it is a glove with rubber tips and you pet and clean fur @ the same time. Also, to help, often when my buns are shedding I will dampen my hand/s and pet them, the fur sticks good then I roll it into a ball. I try to groom outdoors the best I can, otherwise...

    Bratty female bunny

I agree, one other thing I might suggest, is lay with a towel or small blanket that you can put in her cage. that way your smell is inside with her, she can get using to your smell, smell, this may help. also, after her meds, try to give her a a nice treat. So she "understands" you are not...

    Biting

If they are biting due to aggressiveness then yes, spaying/neutering will go away. Young rabbits can have nibbling issues - I actually named one of our baby rabbits Nibbles cuz she nibbles. It's not hard, but I tell them NO, that we only give loves and snuggles and then I give them kisses and...

Switching a bunny off parrot food

@Spitfire! I believe that using fresh fruit to stain is a great idea, however watch for mold...you don't want them eating that...avoid seeds if at all possible...they love clover, dandelion greens, parsley (mine prefer Italian), oregano, etc. but you can find a list of bunny save herbs online...

How do I get rid of the smell!!?

Just started using Simply Pine...IT IS WONDERFUL. I have used other wood pellets that just made a huge mess and became like concrete in the potty, different paper pellets, but that gets SUPER messy as it sticks to bun fur and gets dragged all over! Now we only have to change out our potties -...

Switching a bunny off parrot food

Also, if your mom has a garden, or if there is a flower shop near by, you can see if they will give you rose petals, or other plants that are bunny safe instead of throwing them out. Or i f you or your mom, or a neighbor has a rose bush that is not sprayed with pesticides, make sure there are...

Ear wax or more if a crusty that is a little white and or yellowish. If crusty and white/yellowish ear infection most likely. My bun had a bad infection when we found her, so bad doc couldn't see down her ear. It was a crusty look that was mostly white with a yellowish tint around egdes...

    Mating sounds

Both my male and female rabbits grunt when mounting some times when being mounted - sounds like he is just trying to let the new boy know whose boss. But keep an eye out for nipping, kicking, circling, and snorting....could be they are getting ready for a fight. They may do this and just pee...
