    Bunny is thumping

Home old is he? Thumping is a normal way they communicate frustration or irritation, and also when they perceive danger. So, as long as your bun isn't in any danger and isn't acting stressed, thumping is more of a way they express disapproval. I personally think it's super cute and take it as a...

    Humping

At 6 months, they are likely going through puberty or reaching sexual maturity. From what I understand, humping can be a sign they are deciding who is the dominant male and if they have enough space they may figure it out with little issue, or they make start fighting if they haven't been...

    Teary eyes

Yep! Just dab it around her eye, in the corner on her tear duct. I wish I had been taking pictures. She had been injured on her head and it was a little infected. I think the infection somehow spread or caused the teary eye. I also used the spray on the cut and it healed super fast, that's what...

    Teary eyes

I've been using this briotech spray on a cotton ball and then dabbing on the affected area. It's working really well!

Trader Joes Freeze Dried Banana Slices?

If you dehydrate your own bananas, I don't think you need to freeze them as well. You would need an actual freeze dryer to "freeze dry" anything, and those are quite expensive (at least here in the US). But dehydrating them with a dehydrator or in your oven will work to make them last longer. If...

    Best hideaways

Not sure where you are, but if you have access to Etsy, there are some sellers who make wooden hidey holes and play structures for bunnies, if you don't want to make your own. I've also used a plastic tote and cut a hole in the side about halfway up so they can hop in and out. I like this...

    Stomping after being put down

Sounds like teenage buck hormones. But also, rabbits "thump" their back feet to communicate. Probably telling you he's frustrated about being put down or wants something else. Not necessarily angry. And by peeing on you he is marking his territory.

    RHDV2 Vaccine

They said because it isn't FDA approved and they are tracking it.

    RHDV2 Vaccine

I can't speak to reactions or what to expect, but in my state the rabbits also have to be microchipped and you have to sign an affidavit saying you won't take the bunny out of state ever.

    Emit and Emmi- bonding, diet

I've heard that you can tell if a rabbit is overweight by feeling their spine. If you can feel the bones poking up, then they should be fine. If is is flat and fleshy you have an overweight rabbit. They are a beautiful pair!

    Sore hocks

I use outside carpet door mats, meant for all weather. That way I can hose them off when they get dirty. They have rubber underneath and low pile carpet on top. Also, my bunnies love a lounging box (bigger than their litter tray and I fill it with hay) in addition to their litter tray. They will...

    Outdoor hutch for multiple rabbits

They don't always fight. I have a colony set up and all of our rabbits get along great. I realize there is always a first time for everything, but we have had zero fights so far in nearly a year. They were raised from birth together.

    2 bunnies litter training

That was my first thought too. With a new bunny around your original bun likely feels like they need to mark their territory.

Can't Find Out My Newborn Litter's Mother

Just echoing what has already been said, check for pulled fur (baldish spots on their bellies, enlarged nipples and the color of the fur in the nest.

Can't Find Out My Newborn Litter's Mother

That's amazing! We keep our does together and the kits have often tried to nurse from each other's mom's.

    Traveling by plane vs. car

I have never traveled with one of our rabbits, but I did witness airline staff give a woman a hard time trying to fly with a cat. Her hard sided carrier was too big (though she said she purchased it based on their websites specifications) and she ended up buying another plane ticket just for the...
