Housing bunny in walk in closet...?+ questions about a second rabbit

Hello! I was just wondering, would it be okay to house bunnies in a large walk in closet? (Approx 30-40 sq ft) There are no windows but the door would be taken off and replaced with a baby gate so light can shine in from other places of the room. And they would also get free roaming time. I'm...

Need to find homes for babies- Eugene, Or

They are ADORABLE!!! I wish I lived close enough haha! One thing though, just don't hold buns on their back since they can go into a trance which can kill them in a bad case :) https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Trancing-Poster.jpg

wanted: ideas for Apollo’s (my) room

It looks great though! Some Rosewood Naturals stuff is okay and I'm pretty sure they're Europe based. I've seen quite a bit of their items have millet though which I wouldn't feed to rabbits.

    Offically 6 months

I'd switch him to adult now since he's old enough :) Can we see a picture of the hay? I might be able to tell which type it is. You can give the stem part but some rabbits won't touch it. You don't need to cut it up, it's just prefernce :)

wanted: ideas for Apollo’s (my) room

I don't know if Oxbow is available in England but it's a super great choice for toys! Maybe put the litter box in the corner, and put the hay in the closet so it isn't as noticable as a bunny room? And if you have nic grids you can make a little shelf over the litter box to both conceal it a...

    Offically 6 months

Hello! Happy 6 months to your bun! Is he eating timothy hay or is he still on alfalfa? At this point it's okay to give the full amount of veggies if he's eating a good amount of timothy hay (about the size of his body daily). Not sure how much he weighs but 1 cup of veg per 2lb of body weight...

    Bunny emergency kit+DIY critical care

Hi! What should I keep in a bunny emergency kit? Is critical care, gas drops, pedialyte and syringes enough? Also, is there a way to DIY critical care? Like grinding up pellets and mixing with pedialyte powder? Critical care is really hard to find+ expensive where I live so I don't know if my...

Help with late bonding giant rabbits?

For the neutural territorry you can take the room they've been in least and clean it as well as you can. So vaccum, mop, wipe down the walls and furniture to the best of your ability. Bathtubs can work too. I suggest having at least 1 litterbox per bunny in a shared habitat so they can each...

carefresh vs aspen shavings for sore hocks- which is better?

Okay thank you! My parents don't allow me to put hay in the litterbox since even though we get it from a farm it's still expensive. :( I'll just go with the carefresh then!
