    Please help identify the breed

It's a mixed breed. The land races in northern africa, the middle east and asia tend to have that longer face structure, longer ears and dutch-like markings.

    good carrier recommendations??

I definitely recommend a wire carrier with a wire floor like this one from KW cages: 16 x 8 x 10 Transport Cage, 1 Compartment The wire floor helps them keep good traction so they dont slide around and they open from the top so its super easy to get rabbits in and out of them. I like the wire...

    Rabbit periodically not eating

I don't see anything wrong here. Rabbits don't eat 24/7. They spend more time sleeping than they do eating; and in the wild they would only go out the eat at dawn and dusk. Personally I only feed my rabbits once a day and they do great. Just like with dogs, some rabbits have a bigger appetite...

What color is my buns mum?

Looks like a blue pointed magpie Close to a bluepoint, but a blue point wouldn't have those dark spots like on the top of her head

    Help gendering rabbit?

Yes, thats what I was taught too, by a long time breeder. Taco for girls, doughnuts for boys. I taught that phrase to my vet ;) The one time that the taco/doughnut thing doesn't work as well is when it is a male with a split *****, as that can look more like a taco. And rabbits can most...

Nursing doe is currently showing nesting behavior after rebreeding. Is it okay for the current litter to stay in the same pen?

Most the people I know that rebreed after 1 month wean them at 6 weeks. Not only can the doe start to get aggressive with the old babies as she starts to nest, but also that gives her a bit of a chance to rest and build back body condition before she gives birth to the new litter. The babies...

    Never has my *bunny* ever

In fourteen years of breeding rabbits I've only ever had one accidental pregnancy. One of my best show rabbits, a Himalayan, escaped her coop during the night at the national convention (she was small enough that she could walk right through the bars of the cage that they provided) and ended up...

What Does The VC Mean With Holland Lops?

Irresponsible breeders often sell them for more (just like backyard breeders will sell silver labs or panda GSDs for more) but they are usually not very popular with show breeders because BEWs almost always have worse conformation and VMs aren't allowed to be shown. If you see somebody charging...

    Brachycephalic explosion?

They aren't that unhealthy. Rabbits don't have a stop, like dogs or cats do, so when their face is shortened it doesn't twist the air canal upwards, instead it just shortens it. That being said, the thing that gives these rabbits a bulldog head is mostly because they are bred to have plush...

Rabbit fur genetics - do rex, satin and lionhead combine?

You can mix all the fur types. Satin rex is fairly common. It just makes a shiny rex. There are some people that have considered making satin rex a breed over the years, but it never really gotten enough of a following to go anywhere. It's hard to get good rex fur even without adding satin into...

7 days old. Need Help (underweight?)

Yeah, looks kind of underweight. You shouldn't be able to see the loin or pinbones so well defined.

HELP NEEDED - scabbing and swollen area around vent

myxomatosis isn't really found in tennessee. It's mostly in europe and australia; and the few US cases have been on the west coast iirc and not in recent years. If it does clear up after antibiotics I wouldn't see no reason not to try breeding her again BUT you need to carry the antibiotics...

HELP NEEDED - scabbing and swollen area around vent

It looks like vent disease/rabbit syphilis to me if those pictures are any indication. Which is a bacterial infection; you would need to get antibiotics to treat it. It can spread more ways than just from breeding them.

Get to know each other game!

Nope. I've got family recipes but I am MORE than happy to share them with anybody who asks, I love throwing recipes at people ;) My favorite family recipes include grape & mustard pork loin and cream cheese chocolate chip dip The person below me is watching the new season of Stranger Things

    What colours will I see

Chestnut (called Agouti in some countries) is the most likely. Otherwise it depends a lot on what they carry. Opal, Black, Blue, Orange, Chinchilla, or more might all be possibilities depending on what genes they carry.

    Neutering to help with poop????

10 weeks olds is completely normal for them to poop everywhere. They don't really develop a "spot" to poop in (like a litterbox) until they really reach puberty at 4-6 months. And the poop itself isn't very unsanitary unless it gets wet - make sure his place stays dry. If his poop isn't 100% dry...
