    Harness

I'm actually going to say that that harness, in my opinion, possesses both a safety and a security risk. The velcro around the middle can easily come undone and how the bunny is only secured around the neck, which is VERY dangerous. Additionally, it doesn't take most bunnies very long to figure...

Should I take my bunny on a trip with me?

That one actually depends more on your rabbit and the comfort of your friend. One week without getting the exercise he is used to probably won't be the end of the world, although if he's relatively confident and your friend would enjoy some bunny bonding time it would be great for him to have...

    Harness

As someone who has had several harness trained rabbits, it is something I generally recommend against except in extremely unique cases. I have one rabbit that walks cheerfully on a leash and enjoys excursions and another that I would not put on a leash right now for any reason, the trust and...

Should I take my bunny on a trip with me?

Even more so, leave him at home unless you have no other choice. I've done multiday moving trips with rabbits and while it is not a task that should be done for no good reason, especially if most of the trip will be in transit and miserable for your rabbit, putting him at risk of...

Should I take my bunny on a trip with me?

I'd go with having a friend stop by every day to check on him. It's the least stressful for your bunny and frankly for you, with the fewest moving parts and least risk of something going wrong. Rabbits are not generally big fans of travel, so taking him with you is a lot of stress for everyone...

    Rabbit turning aggressive!!!

Has the aggression happened more than once now?

    Is this rabbit syphilis?

I can't even guess from just a picture as to what's going on, however, I can say that something is not as it should be and there appears to be some kind of infection. You should probably take your bunny to a rabbit savvy vet who can properly assess whether the problem is related to sexual organs...

    Rabbit turning aggressive!!!

While I'm totally late to this post, I've seen this sort of behavior relating not to human stimuli, but to other factors that I, with my dull human senses interpreted as towards people. In Willa's case, I thought she was being afraid and aggressive because of the sounds of a party down the...

ear mite cure recommendation from other rabbit owner

I actually would NOT try the topical ivermectin, as it risks allowing the mites to become resistant to the active ingredient if it does not work... Always try the effective, known method first, and then branch out into experimental if it doesn't!

ear mite cure recommendation from other rabbit owner

As always, @JBun has a fantastic answer! Here's the link from another post! https://www.rabbitsonline.net/threads/ear-mites.100609/post-1164675

ear mite cure recommendation from other rabbit owner

I would be skeptical... Your friends may be right and if dosed correctly I can see little actual risk to your rabbit from the treatment... however, whether or not the treatment will be effective is the question. On the one hand, I've read other rabbit folks having success with this treatment...

    Baby Flemish Giant issues: UPDATE

He is ridiculously cute! Long live the king! I can't believe he can get up there without slipping.

Get to know each other game!

I do! I certainly enjoy the original Twilight Zone, although it's an interest I'm still exploring. I'm a bit of a film buff, so it's a fun exploration. I have to answer @SableSteel as well. I love the killdeer, I love watching the young ones on their little toothpick legs and the adults fake...

Get to know each other game!

Man, I loved those books when I was younger! I sometimes wonder how I've managed to continue to remember everything in those books after all these years. Definitely a favorite childhood book series! The person below we has interest in zoology

Get to know each other game!

No, I'm a big horror buff who has had to spend a lot of time out in the wilderness alone and it's pretty hard to get me too undone, but I will get unnerved or my mind will play tricks on me. I was in a very remote camping spot that had been "decorated" by past visitors with bones, tiki torches...

    exercise wheel

There are absolutely no dumb questions on the rabbit forum! It would be super cute, but unfortunately, it's not safe. If you look at how a rabbit's spine curves in the opposite direction of the wheel surface they'd be running on, which would cause potential spinal issues from the rabbit...

Get to know each other game!

Not at all! I have a dietary discretion of a stray dog. I tend to wander about looking for new things to try... I think my favorite so far is snails, escargot. Although now that my taste buds have matured, I've found a lot sweets have lost their appeal, chocolate in particular. The person below...

Where is the best place to put the carrier in a car?

I personally wouldn't put a carrier on the seat, even with a seatbelt, especially if you're driving fast on a highway. The chance that you may have to brake fast is just too high and the bunny could go flying. You could consider putting her in the passenger footwell and putting towels or bags...

    Fostering Rabbits is tough

It's so hard to say goodbye, even if they are off to another good place. In the fostering community that I am acquainted with, your friends moving onto a wonderful forever home is considered a "foster success," while staying with the foster home is called a "foster fail." Not because the pet...

    What breed is your rabbit(s)?

Willa is half satin, half holland lop (she is somehow my third satin small lop mix, never on purpose, the cards just fell that way). While Foxwelll has all of the standard looks and build of a Havana, I think that's a little high brow for a stray picked up in a small town, so I'm betting he's...
