    Four Vet Visits-Help!

Do not feed any new veggies that he has never had before or hasn't had in a while, this can make diarrhea worse. Is he eating pellets on his own? You need to push hay more than veggies. If you can get it, I would give him Critical Care as directed on the package, if not soak pellets in water and...

Every way to get rid of sore hocks- please help!

I have found that fleece can sometimes make it worse alone. I put wood pieces on the wire to keep them off of it. If he will keep it on, I have had some who will some who won't, depends on the rabbit. I used to put Preparation H directly on it then pull apart a cotton ball and place it on there...

Help!!!! Spay appointment is in the morning

Rabbits really only shed a lot during a molt. Which they do 2x a year. This is where they shed their whole coat. Usually, at the beginning of winter and they will shed their summer coat and grow a much thicker and warmer coat. And in the spring as it gets warmer they will shed their warmer coats...

    shedding behavior please help

Dampen your hand once or twice a day and run it over her. And it is a good thing that she is passing what she is ingesting. You could also give her some fresh pineapple or papaya or some canned pumpkin (Not pumpkin pie filling) to make sure she is passing all of it.

Poop stuck on bottom of rabbit feet

Are you only doing butt baths? Full body baths are not recommended unless absolutely necessary. Is it in his fur on the bottom of his feet or like attached to his skin? Can you post a picture?

Pooping in one area, I’ve tried everything

I would put another litterbox their, as it seems she is not going to give up anytime soon. You could do something smaller than her other litterbox (as I imagine as a flemish she has a huge litterbox) as this won't be her main one.

    P@H bedding?

Pine and aspen seem really hard to tell apart so I wouldn't risk it. Just find some old newspaper or an old phonebook and shred it.

    Emergency

She probably won't take them and raise them on her own so you will have to do the manual feedings by bringing them to her and making her feed them at least once a day until they look full.

How long ago did the other litter pass?
  14. Augustus&HazelGrace

    Emergency

No, as they are not producing any milk and she will likely reject them anyway without her having a litter herself. I know that those conditions are not the best, but I always kept mine outside and they were fine but they were protected from wind and weather, but I don't know what's all going on...

    Emergency

Call your other breeder friends and ask if you can foster the two to one of their nursing does that may have babies around the same age. I would not recommend syringe feeding as the mortality rate are high with that.

Would 3 months old bunny double in size?

Mini Rexes get between 3 1/2- 4 1/2 lbs. 4lbs is the max for show but I have had ones that are slightly over.

how long do females stay at vet after spay?

Some vets send them home the same day, but others keep them overnight. Just call and ask so you are prepared. The ones that keep them overnight stay with them so they can watch and make sure there are no adverse reactions to the meds and can give immediate attention if needed.

Do you know any other breeders in your area? How old are the babies?

    Kit with no eyes?

If you are just breeding for pets then I would encourage you not to because there are so many rabbits now that need homes that were unplanned. But if you are breeding for show or to better the breed then, most breeders go on the 3 strikes your out rule, meaning if there are 3 failed breedings...

    Kit with no eyes?

First-time mom? I have never heard of them being born with fur. I guess it was just an oops. If this was an intentional breed try again and if it happens a second time then I wouldn't breed her anymore. If this was not intentional then I would not worry about her and get her spayed ASAP, as...
