Weird eating habit / excessive drooling

My vet told me that drooling is likely a sign of malocclusion or a tooth problem. Needs to have teeth checked by vet.

    Bunny death during neutering.

I am so very sorry about your bun. It's important to know the vets experience and to have that conversation before the surgery. How many of these surgeries have they done? How many years experience with anesthesia? Ask them if they have ever had a rabbit die during the procedure. It's...

    Rabbit GI Stasis!!

The Gabapentin is likely what is keeping her sedated. I would stop it and see what happens. Mylicon infant drops for gas. If you see less interest in eating and/or less poops, I would call your vet and ask for Reglan for gut motility. Syringe feeding is hard on both the owner and bunny but...

    Bunny suddenly not eating

Any update? Try syringe feeding pellets crushed and mixed with warm water or critical care. If still not eating needs vet visit asap. May need xray and definitely get pain medication at visit and some to go. Good luck.

    Nails nearly impossible to clip!

Yes, I have found most video's demonstrating some procedure with a rabbit (i.e. nail clipping, syringe feeding) all have a compliant rabbit that holds perfectly still. Frustrating. My recommendation is to take the Bun to the Vet. Just not worth the hassle and can stress out your bun. My vet...

    Leaving for a week!

My mom bunny sits when we go on vacation. During the day he pretty much stays in my bedroom sleeping. In the evening, he comes downstairs and hangs out with us in the living room. Even if your bun doesn't allow cuddling, petting, or being held, I have my mom stay and hang out in the living...

How do I stop bun from peeing on the sofa?

"Couch defender" on Amazon. We cover it with a blanket that goes to the floor. It's worked for us!

    GI stasis?? Please help!

I would continue with gas drops and Metcam for pain. Veges and hay. Watch his poops closely. If he continues to poop than not obstructed and would supplement with Critical care. If his appetite is back, he might eat the critical care mixture out of a bowl vs syringe feeding.

Should I bring my bunny to the vet?

With so much concern, I would call his vet TODAY and not wait another day, especially on a holiday. If yours isn't open, try to find a vet that is familiar with rabbits TODAY. You have a better chance of getting the Bun seen today vs tomorrow when your only option on a holiday is probably the...

Is it safe to give bunnies in Day Care for a week

My first suggestion is get leave the buns at home in their safe and comfortable environment. Just not having you there for a week will add stress. Putting them in an unfamiliar environment will stress them more. What about a co-worker or a neighbor or co-workers child (responsible teen)...
