    New Indoor Rabbit Hutch

The top is inlaid-notched, meaning there are grooves where the tongue and groove boards are built right into the outer frame. This is a prototype...the next one will be a brooder for my baby chicks with electricity built in for heating the area.

    New Indoor Rabbit Hutch

I used 2x6s split in two for most of the framing and tongue n groove bead board for the side panels. Only piece of plywood is under the linoleum for the riser and it is 3/4". The hutch is 6' wide, 4' tall, and 2' deep...the actual rabbit area is 6'x2'x2' with an added second level which is 2'x2'.

    Indiana

Monticello, Indiana....near Lafayette. "Hoosier" is a term used when references people from Indiana due to the way early settlers in the area would answer the door "Who's there?".... In rural Indiana the phrase came out "who's 'ere"...."Hoosier".
