    hay in bulk

Thank you for the information, I just remember reading somewhere else... possibly this forum, that it loses nutrients over time. Oh well. in order to keep it as "fresh" as possible for your buns, how do you store it? freeze it? refrigerate it?

    Sweet Bunny Tales

Here are a couple recent pictures of Ellie snuggling  Sorry about the second one, it was in my pj's and she was just so cute I couldn't help it. Anyone else's bun go nuts licking you if you stop petting them? Look at that mohawk!

    hay in bulk

I would love to find a better price as well. Not a huge package.. as it loses nutrients over time, but just better prices.

    All I want for Christmas

I really wish some adults would be more mature in their decision making when it comes to a pet. We often talked about getting another rabbit (we had one many years ago), but when we got down to the math of it there was no way. If we didn't have to find new homes for our two cats (our baby...

I often buy myself a container of baby spring or baby romaine salad and was thinking to start sharing with Ellie once she's old enough. Hoping to get some seeds and start some herbs this spring :)

    Sweet Bunny Tales

ok seriously... are bunnies normally this intelligent? while i was spot cleaning her cage of poops (found in three specific areas), i thought to myself "I don't see any wet spots". Then I found it. She only pees in one corner of the cage! I haven't even purchased a box for her, let alone start...

Yes, It's Ellie. :) I'm so proud of her too. Whenever she's running around the play room there's no potty issues, aside from 1-2 poops. Same when you hold her, no potty, just sits quietly while you groom her. Last night while holding her, she got real close to my neck and stretched herself...

    Oatmeal & hay question

I think hay is unlimited.. but I am unsure about the oatmeal. My little Ellie LOVES her pellets. She goes nuts whenever I am refilling or freshening up her dish. She likes her hay too.. some days she'll eat it like crazy.. others I can barely tell she's touched it.

    Quality of Life......

I agree. Since he doesn't have much time left, and he's still pretty happy, I would bring him with you. At least then he would be with someone he loves and can enjoy his last days with that person. If he's already old and senile (I had to), could you imagine putting him in a new home...

Is there somthing wrong with my rabbit?

While I'm not as experienced with rabbits as others on here, I have studied in the veterinary field and I can definitely say this is NOT something that can simply be treated at home. Please, take your sweet bun to a vet (often state they "accept exotics"). When you call for the appointment...
