I don't post here too often, but thought it would be cute to start a blog for my two bunnies - Zeus and Barnaby.
Zeus
My boyfriend got little Zeus for me a little over a year ago, because I had been wanting another bunny following the death of my 15 year old mutt bunny Nibbles. I wanted to adopt a shelter bunny but my boyfriend fell in love with Zeus at the pet store and after visiting him in the store everyday for a week, we just had to have him. He's a blue, male neitherland dwarf with a craaaazy personality!
Adoption day: June 14th, 2006
Likes: Treats, hay, running around like crazy, being loud, tearing paper, climbing
Dislikes: Getting brushed, getting his nails clipped, being picked up.
Barnaby
I've actually only had Barnaby about 2 weeks - it'll be 2 weeks tomorrow I think. He's a light brown/tan/black male lionhead. I was looking to adopt another small bunny to keep Zeus company and, perfect timing, a woman emailed me asking if I could take in her bunny because her husband was allergic. I was a little nervous that they wouldn't get along since they are both males, but my worries were unfounded because they love each other already! I picked Barnaby up from his old owners at Grand Central Station in NYC - what a funny place to get a bunny! So far he is very shy but is a complete sweetheart! I'm sure I'll slowly get to see other aspects of his personality as he becomes more comfortable in his new home.

Adoption day: August 13, 2007
Likes: Playing with all the toys that Zeus won't play with, ripping paper (because Zeus tought him how), cuddling
Dislikes: loud noises
So those are my two babies. I'm sure I'll have plenty of stories and pictures to share about them!

It's great to hear of a bunny living to age 15. Did you have him his whole life? Are your little men neutered? Can't wait to hear more....they're just adorable!
