Our first bunny came after a quick stop at a pet store. I could not
allow a small black bunny to be taken by the first grasping hands
at a 'Free bunny' sign, so he came home with us. We've had a lot
of fun for several years, and he's had all the attention. Until...
Last Saturday, hubby and I attended an outdoor auction which
included chickens and such. Though there were many bunnies to
choose from, hearing farmers discussing what 'great eating' the
Giant Flemish might be, I passed on the Holland Lop and bought
a Flemish. A pregnant Flemish.
Today, if she was in fact bred on the 25th as the previous owner
thought, we are 13 days pregnant. She and Honey Bunny are currently
in a temporary cage setup until we can establish a better system.
H.B. had the run of a large cage, but when the Flemish came home,
we had to make temporary due.
Much more to come!
