Oreo won't drink much unless there is vanilla inher water, might be worth a try. Just enough to discolor thewater a bit.

Good idea, PGG. lucy you should alsotake out the shavings and put in a white or light colored towel in thelitterbox. That way, you can see what the actual color of herurine is and can take the towel with her to the vet if it looksabnormal. I did this for one of my guinea pigs when he haddifficulty urinating and I discovered blood in his urine and took himright away to the vet.

I hope it is just dehydration with all the heat lately.:(

LOL That made me laugh.

I hope lucy is doing ok, the white towel or serviette is a good idea to me.

keep us up to date on how you go

Goodluck ;)

A salt lick can encourage a bun to drink, but becareful and monitor your bun because some buns excessively lick it andothers only like it once and a while, if your bun excessively licks itthen you would need to take it away.

If you discover the urine is a sort of "red"....red urine is a normal discretion of undigested proteins. And of courseyou know that it's cloudy because of the calcium in it. If it's anothercolor... dark or unusual pasty you'll probably want to have it checkedout. I really don't know much more than that... I hope it helps.

It's pretty easy to spot if your rabbit isdehydrated.... the start with holding their head up and back, panting, stretching out as long as they can and seeming relatively unalert. Alsotheir dropping change, they seem more moist, sticking together andgetting off-colored.
