Wood experts- need to know which of these are safe for buns

My Dad is going redoing the garden and a lot of wood is going to be coming down that I'd love to give to my buns, espesh Pippin who is a chewer. Privet is one. Pyrocantha (spelling) is another. There are a few others. If anyone could tell me about privet and pyrocantha, and any others that are safe/deffo stay away from etc. that would be awesome.

Neither Pyrocantha or Privet are listed as poisonous plants by any book I've ever read. The thorns on the pyrocantha are probably the biggest danger.
