Montana, i was thinking of another question to ask. If you want the bun to stay over night i would make sure that this vet has someone that is there 24/7. if no one is there overnight then , i would think, your bun is better off home with you. If something was to happen yo could step in till you could get your rabbit there in the morning, or be there to call the on-call doc.If no one is going to be in the vet office then if , god forbid, something happen no one would know till the morning. Secondly it is less stressfull when your rabbit can come home and be in familar area, just like when you go into the hospital, most people would rather be at home to recover after surgery.
i regret leaving Belle overnight but i was sssoooo scared and her being my first rabbit i thought she would be better there, thankfully all is well. But i did have a dog that the vet wanted to keep overnight, i asked if there was someone that was going to be there they said no, so i said i would be taking her home, they actually had me sign something that they advised me that she should stay, something like a AMA thing. My thinking was i was home all night with her if something happened i could call them and get an emergency visit, it was bettert hen leaving her in a vets office overnight when no one was there. Sorry for the rambling , good luck
