Hello have just been checking up on the safe foodlist for rabbits and I was wondering how wild rabbits avoid all theseleaves and twigs etc.

Is it that they just avoid them if there are better things to eat?

Does anyone know?

Unless they are starving, rabbits instinctivelyavoid poisonous plants as most animals do. For instance, buttercups are poisonous to horses, which they will avoideatingin favor ofthe palatable grasses.
