It seems rabbits like to press their butts against the cage wires to do their business. I've found puddles on the floor and poop stuck to the wall a foot away. It must have been a really gasy bun to be able to have poop coming with enough explosive force to stick flatten to the wall.

what a visual. hahahaa

Are your buns litter trained? I ended up having to get a high-backed litter pan because Kirby's pee would go over the edge on her shorter pan and it got old fast.
She can't lift her butt over the edges of this one but sometimes she does decide to pee outside of the box.
As for poops, sometimes I find them across the room somehow! :? She mostly uses her box though.

:laughsmiley:

I have a situation where the bunnies lay and sleep in the litter boxes, but pee and poop everywhere else than their boxes. :sigh:

My bun will get a poo stuck to the bottom of his foot as he leaves the box, and then it goes flying when he flicks his feet. I find poos a foot away from where he actually did the deed. haha

We had that exact problem with Timmy until we discovered that what he wanted was 2 boxes: one to pee, poop and eat hay in (his hay rack is above his box) and one to sleep in.

One of mine will get in her litter box, then back her butt all the way up against one side, and half of the pee goes over the edge.
She doesn't like the high-backed boxes, though, so I just deal with cleaning it up.

My rabbit used to sleep in her litterbox all the time! What kind of litterboxes do you have? I read in other forums that some rabbits prefer the rectangular litterboxes instead of the store-bought triangle pans
