Why I Love The Petco By My House

I was there getting crickets and saw the point blank refuse to sell a girl an iguana because she wanted to house it in a 10 gallon tank. They also made sure the other employees saw the three people envolved so that no other employee would sell to them.

Good for Petco. We have our adoption events there every other week and they are really awesome. I recommend Petco over Petsmart.

That's great! :clapping:The Petco near me has rabbit adoption events too. Also, on every animal cage it says think adoption. They also have a petfinder computer so you can actually search right there in the store!

I think alot of people just mark it as a whole but I try to go by the imdividual store.

I have watched them encourage people to go the adoption route first.

Our Petco has the Petfinder computer too. It's really nice to be able to show potential adopters our other rabbits that we don't have in the store that day.

Old thread but I have watched them for several years push to use carpet instead of sand for the geckos and they got it done a few months ago.

I treat each store as a separate entity. When we first moved here, there was a Petland close by. Was one of the best run stores I've ever been to and they did care greatly for the animals in their charge.

I often use the computer to show people the other rabbits we have available for adoption. They also have a stack of my cards and refer people that come in wanting to buy a rabbit. Petco rocks!
