Hello everybody! Another new face here! :)

I go by the name of Mio on the Tinterwebs and I'm a collage student working on Animal Management (so I'm all up for animal welfare!) Currently I have a kitty who is quite nervous around my bunnies but doesn't pay them any mind. I still don't trust him so I keep a close eye on him. I also have 4 fish (which are also my babies... I love my fish very much <3 ).

When I was younger (around age 5) my mother bought rabbits for me and my brother, however since I was so little I never paid them any attention, and I feel guilty for that, but I'm now making up for that with my new bun-yuns!

My Bunnies!

These are my two current bunnies. Merry (on the right) and Pippin (on the left). They are a dutch cross as you can tell, but crossed with what I have no clue.

They are large bunnies (to me considering), a little skittish when it comes to handling them but they are defiantly getting better. And there favorite thing in the world: Food. They will eat for England. They eat like they have never been fed before and every time I come outside they wiggle their little tails, stand on there hind legs and practically scream "Treats please!" Ha, I love 'em.

I adopted them from a Animal Sanctuary that I had, had work experience previously. This animal sanctuary had animals from the typical dogs and cats, to horses and donkeys, goats and small rodents. They even had a small herd of sheep and apparently two bulls but I had my doubts. I worked on the horse and farm part (which included the rodents) which is when I met these two. I must say it was love at first sight. When I tried to clean them out, they'd come and sit on my dustpan, they'd run around my feet and sniff at any available body part they could reach. And typical of the pair they got easily over excited when it came to food. I loved it.

I somehow managed to convince my mum to allow me to adopt them, which came at a large shock. But I will love her forever for it. <3

When I manage to get hold of a house of my own, I can't wait for them to be house bunnies. I would love the interaction and actually letting them be involved in my life instead of sitting outside. I feel sorry for them really, they'd make great house bunnies. But parents house is parents rules and I abide by that. :)

I hope to get to meet interesting new people and bunnies here and learn more about those fluffy mops so I can make their lives happier. :)
