Hello Everyone!
My name is Mandi, and I breed English Angoras. You probably have heard of me through Jesse/JAK Rabbitry. She has been after me to make an account here for some time now. So here I am. Though I must warn everyone, this is the first forum that I have been a part of, therefore I am very much a n00b. But anyway I shall tell you all a bit about myself and my bunnies. I'm 22. I work at my dad's company. I'm going to go to school to be a veterinary technician, because I love animals. I have 2 cats, 10 bunnies, 2 fish, and a boyfriend that are all spoiled way too much. Hehe. I got my first bunny at the first show that I went to, and that was around Easter 2007. What can I say, it was love at first cuddle.:) Since then I have obtained 3 more bunnies, some of which were from Jesse/ JAK Rabbitry, and now have a litter of 6 which I'm sure some of you have already seen. Complemants of JAK Rabbitry. Ok, my bunnies are as follows... in order of recieving them.. 1st - Vorenus (Choc./Buck) father to my 1st litter, 2nd - Alea (Choc. Tort/Doe) mother to my 1st litter [she's great, I got her from JAK Rabbitry], 3rd Big Bunny (aka Nimbus; his real name) (REW/Buck)..[Big Bunny has recently been sick. Before he was given to me, he
unfortunatly had the starting stages of wool block, that was unknown to the previous owners. When I received him he was already going downhill fast. He has now come a long way, fighting through wool block, sore hocks and 2 nasty cases of snuffles. I can proudly say that he is now doing much better, though still on antibiotics he is on the road to recovery. If anyone wishes to hear more about this miracle, I would be happy to tell the tale, just let me know)] And 4th - Niobe (Blue Steel/Doe) [She is almost old enough to breed, I can't wait] And currently 6 young ones that are just old enough to be finding a home.:D I go to shows with Jesse, and we try to make it to as many as we can. Jesse and I have been friends for a long time and I'm so glad that I got into bunnies with her. I truly have found a passion. Oh and I live in the northern pittsburgh area. And I think thats about it. It's late and I'm tired so I think I'll stop now. ~Bye

Hi Mandi! Welcome to the forum!

I just love Angoras! They have this teddy bear look that I just can't get enough of. Especially the little ones! Jesse has recently posted some pictures of your litter (we demanded her to! ;)). I SO cannot wait to see and hear lots more about the little fluff balls! They are one of my favourite breeds, although not sure I can say I'd feel ready to own one any time soon :D.

Aww! Any chance we'll get to see more pictures of your guys and gals? I just love their names! I'd love to hear the story of Big Bunny, it's so scary when the little rascals are ill. Glad he's doing well now!

We just love Jesse here! I can't wait to hear more (and see pictures hopefully!!) about your bunnies and yourself! Enjoy the forum.

:biggrin2:

I saw the pictures of your little Angoras in the thread, they are so cute, I'd love and English Angora someday... :)

I'm glad Jesse pointed you in our direction! We're always so happy to have more bunny people!

Have fun here,
