twich their heads when they sniff your finger? I know this is so random and maybe even a little silly...but every time Wrangler comes up to smell me he twitches/shakes his head. Why do they do this?

I can't say I've noticed my bunns twitching their heads when they sniff my fingers. Come to think of it though they do it sometimes. Maybe us humans smell peculiar :) This should probably be in the nutrition/behavior section btw.

sounds like a binki,.??.my cottontail likes to do that(smell thing),but it is to find out what i ate,and did not share with him,.i have to be careful or lose a finger.,love this little guy,he has no idea how much money i have put into him(about a thousand,$$),sincerely james waller

Maybe it could be he has super sensitive whiskers? I'm not sure either, to be honest though.

I know what your saying. Lol. My buns always do that too. I wonder why they do-do that. :)

Thanks everyone for the replies! :)

That makes sense though...sensitive whiskers...but gee, I did not know they actually could hurt! Ouch! That's good to know!
