I sorta had a dummy moment and dumped 1/8 cup of timothy oxbow bbt into toby's bowl this evening before bed. There was about 1/8 cup of alfalfa oxbow bbt 15/23 already in his bowl but I knew he'd eat it all overnight. He has not been fed timmy pellets of that kind before but in the past I have fed him a couple single pellets by hand because he kept coming over when I fed Kirby. Do you think Toby will have trouble with an accidental pellet change?

I put an extra 1/4 cup of his alfalfa pellets in there to mix it up and thin out the timothy pellets.... I don't know if it will help. Do you think I should just dump the whole thing and give him his own pellets?

:twitch:

Edit: Toby eats timothy hay and alfalfa hay regularly. I give him both to keep his gut healthy. He is 4 months old, 1.5 lbs.

It's probably ok, but it's up to you. I wouldn't switch him to Timothy on purpose yet, but it should be fine, since you added that extra 1/4 of alfalfa.

He seems fine this morning. More than fine. More like "super super happy to have eaten Kirby's food last night" happy... :p
