This plot revolves around Bruce Campbell, who is playing himself throughout the piece being mistaken by fans for Ashley J. Williams. Due to this mistake he is dragged from his trailer park home to battle the avatar of the Chinese war diety Guan Di.

He is known for his over the top movies.

I've only seen him in the first and second Evil Dead movies...never got around to watching the third one because the second was too silly for me and the bits and pieces I saw of Army of Darkness on TV I couldn't stand to watch

I did like reading all the trivia from the first Evil Dead though...how they made such a low budget film and all the goofs to look for
