Hi, well it appears my rabbit has this white thing on his eye. Happened before but its usually gone the next morning Ive been wondering what is it? It doesn't effect his mood or his ability to see or anything? Should I be worried? Is it like crusty eyes us humans get when we wake up in the morning?

Thanks in advance

Are you talking about the white directly on the eye, or it that a reflection?

Yeah it looks like hair or maybe eye crusty that got in the eye. I would say he's fine unless the eye starts looking infected or irritated.

it seems to be hair, it happens to Lady Pil, She gets it during her shedding time or when she spends too much time cleaning herself. It annoys her so I just use my finger to gently remove the clump of fur. Practice makes perfect, I can remove those balls of hair really fast now, but you might get a bit of resistance at the beginning (no one likes it when someone stick a finger in your eye). If you let the clump get bigger it will usually come off while the bunny blinks, but it is annoying to them.

Prince had this problem a lot, like every couple of days. What you do is VERY carefully take a q-tip and wipe it out. Very gently touch the eye with the q-tip, as you are doing that gently roll the q-tip to get the gunk out. It doesn't look like a hair at all, it looks like white gunk that you get at the corner of yoru eyes.
