I've been itching to know about this issue, even the Vet doesn't know.

Since January, Bun-Bun has been making whining noises, like he'sin pain, when ever he grooms him self. I have no idea whatthis means, he doesn't act like he's in pain.
Any one knows what this could be?

How old is he? What is his healthlike- does he have any problems or is he overweight? He couldbe uncomfortable due to his size or arthritis, if he isolder. Or he could be commenting on the state of his fur.:)

Pernod makes an awful noise when she's groomingherself. Not whining, but grunting and squeaking. She is a very vocalrabbit anyway, so i guess it's just her natural way.

If the vet can't find anything, and Bun-Bun isn't in any pain, I shouldn't think it's anything to worry about.

He's at the shape of a mini-rex, but heavier, weighing in at 7 pounds. He is a little chubby. He's 3 1/2 years old.
I take the best care I can, but some times he misses the litter box,and pees on the floor. He could sleep and hop in it. I actually likethe Grid Whire Cages better, although, this new on must feel good onhis feet.

Asthma could produce something like that too--Ihave a doe that occasionally gets it and she whistles and wheezes andall sorts of funny noises.

I love all of their little noises.

Sunny has started "buzzing" like a bumblebee in the last few days.

She does it when she's playing or snuggling, so I'm guessing it's a happy noise.

Rabbits will make soft little buzzing/hummingnoises before they mate. I've whitnessed Bun-Bun dothis when he does his "showing the flower" orbefore he mounts. He even does it to his "Bun-Bun bangbuddies(Stuffed Animals.)!!"
