Just a quick update.
Charlie is finally grooming Misty. He refused to groom her for over a year now and just recently I caught him with his tongue in her ear.
:biggrin2: Now he's a grooming maniac. Every time I look at them he is licking her face. He's such a suck. I put my head on the floor in front of his face and he spends about 5 minutes grooming my eyes, eyebrows, forehead, cheeks. He's such a lovable little guy, but he won't accept a whole lot of pets in return. Just likes to give ou tthe kisses, not receive them...... so rare to find that in a guy these days.
Misty on the other hand is not as bonded to me lately. Maybe cause I have been taking all Charlie's kisses away from her. She's still a cuddle monkey, but she's not climbing in my lap as often as she used to. I think I just need to spend more time with her.
We're going to get Misty's teeth trimmed again tonight. She's been slowing down on her vegetables, so that's usually a sign. I made her a batch of Critical Care/Apple Pedialyte/Oats concoction today and she totally turned her nose up at it. I had to force feed her the last time she got her teeth trimmed and since then she's been turned off the CC.
Well I covered it in oats, and after about 5 minutes of her trying to get into the oat bag to no avail, she sucked it up and took a bite of the Oat/CC ball. Within like 2 minutes she finished the whole bowl and would have been licking the spoon had I given her a chance.
What a suck.
Anyway - off to get ready for the vet trip. Glad I got some food in her cause I know once we get back I'll have to watch her for the beginning of stasis - she likely won't eat for a day or so.
