So my ELlitter is 9 weeks old now. I have one left...the chocolate agouti buck that I was planning on keeping...dont know yet. Anyway, Im a little confused as to when I am able to enter a jr to show. They have to be 4 lbs right? So they dont have to be a certain age to show, just 4 lbs? Also...even with jrs, their ears have to be 21in AND atleast 4 lbs to show...am I right about this or did I just confuse everyone, lol.

Not sure on ELs...do you have an ARBA Standard of Perfection handy? I can check mine later - just popped on to check mail and visit RO but have boots on and am headed out to ride as we have great weather for it.

I know I had a young Fuzzy Lop I showed years ago and she was such a little squirt that she would travel between the coops (a coop show) as she could fit inbetween the bars. I was guessing she may have been a bit young but she placed in the class. :)

I love ELs - there were some at the show I went to on May 9th in Canandaigua and they were just gorgeous.

Yeah, I am going to the Frankfort,NY show but I was just going to watch....I really would like to enter though but Im not sure he is old/big enough. I have never showed before and it sounds like fun.

Minimum jr. show weight is 4 1/2 lbs. (Yes - the ears must be a minimum of 21 inches, even in jrs.)

I believe they have to be 10 weeks to be able to be shown....at least for fairs they do. Not sure about ARBA shows, but if you want them to do good on the table, 10 weeks is probably the best age. And like Pam said, they have to be minimum weight, etc.
