when to seperate?

:?can some one tell me when i have 2 seperate 2 brothers aged 10 wks? i had to take them out of mums cage because 1 of them was trying to have his way with his brother and i didnt want to risk inter-breeding. i have now named him randy brandy:rofl:will they need seperating with bieng brothers? or will they fight? please help as im new to this and would like some nice peeps to help me out :biggrin:

You dont have to separate brothers unless they start fighting. You can keep brothers together if not fighting or anything like that..

Two boys can't breed together, just fyi.
However, they might start fighting, so I would seperate them as soon as you start noticing any of that at all.

might be a dumb question but are u SURE their both males?..i know i cant tell the dang dif at that age..hehe..and lots of people and vets have been wrong before..

I can be positive on sex at 4-5 weeks and have not been wrong once, I do double check at sale of rabbit or first time I am showing it though just to be safe.

Anyways as long has their not showing sign of aggression to each other they can be housed together as long as you need them to be, they may mount each other though to exhibit dominance but I have does do this to.
