Everyone knows I've been trying to get Rice and Beans to bond for a while now with no luck. Recently I've tried the scare tactic by placing them in a laundry basket and putting them on my speaker which vibrates and ithas been the closest i've gotten to bonding them. (the bathtub was a disaster!) however, im really not having high hopes anymore and i was wondering, if they dont bond which scenario would be better:

1. keep them in the same room together alternating who is in the cage and who is out of the cage - at least they get to see eachother even if they dont like eachother - at least they aren't alone all day.

or

2. keep them completely separate in 2 separate rooms.

im not sure if they dont get along if the mere sight of eachother aggravates them. is it better to keep them within eyesight of eachother or completely separate? Please let me know, thanks guys!!!

Do they attack each other through the bars? If not, it should be okay to keep them in the same room with each other. In fact, it may help them get used to each other.

I have the same sceniaro as you.

I keep my two rabbits in the garden, Their hutches are right next to each other, and their runs are too. They take it in turns to go in the garden and run around. Whenever they are in the garden they always end up sitting next to each other through the bars. I think they really like the company, but they just dont like living together - sharing their territory.

It is also helping them to get use to each other being around, and hopefully will also make them 'one day' like living together. :DGood luck!

Unless they get really stressed out from even seeing each other, I'd keep them in the same room. That way they are still getting to interact with another bunny, even if there are bars between them.

I keep both my pairs in the same room, even though Mocha hates both the Ladies and Fey hates Mocha. I block the cages with plywood sheets when one or the other pair is out so they can't fight.
