Gizmo got neutered about 2 wks ago and I was wondering when it was safe to let Roxy out ( she is unaltered) along with him? The vet said 2 wks but to be safe I want to wait 4, what do yall think?

I was told to keep Peaches awasy from female bunnies for 4 weeks too just in case - not that he has direct female contact apart from my son playing with his friend's female bunnies & Peaches trying to hump him...

A male can still have viable sperm for 4-6 weeks after being neutered. While he is not producing any more sperm, there is still some left and it take a while for it to leave the body.
I would wait at least 4 weeks, but 6 to be safe.
If you do plan on getting her spayed in the next little while, then I would wait about 2 weeks after than so she is healed up before letting them be together.

ok, that's what I thought, I have their cages next to each other and they sniff through the bars, I think they are already starting to bond because Gizz would not eat post neuter until we put her cage next to his pen. They do everything at the same time, grooming, eating, sleeping and using their litter pans...lol I think I'll wait 6 weeks to be safe since she won't be getting spayed for a little while yet.
