Ok

This is really odd... But I absolutely love Christmas music. I always always hum Christmas songs no matter the time of year.

When I am really down and not well, I listen to Christmas songs. Right now I have "Deck the Halls" by Shedaisy blasting away in my ears. My favorite is "Make it Christmas Day" by Jann Arden.

So what do you guys do?

I watch this over and over again and cuddle with my boyfriend :biggrin2:

That is hilarious. What a wiggle butt. :p

My picker upper is actually quite simple. I spend most of the time when I'm at home in bed, reading, and the bunnies sit on the floor munching hay. So it's more of a regular thing I guess, and not a pick me upper, per se. Spur of the moment pick me upper would be going to see a movie, or going out for coffee somewhere. I'm pretty simple! :p

Pretty simple for me too....a good belly laugh and/or a game otside .g. tag, throw a ball around or go down for a walk to the beach:)

I must be really odd too then ;)...I love Christmas music too, listen all year round. :D

Not just music though, everything about Christmas, hehe, nothing better than a good old Christmas film in July. :pI have a Christmas countdown counter on my Google page. :bagheadEven the thought of Christmas makes me so happy, just love it.

Apart from Christmas, haha, it honestly is my animals. Coming home from a bad day at school seeing Madison and Ebony really just makes me feel ok again. My kitties too, but not so much as the bunnies. :)

These 3 cheer me up :biggrin2:

There is no better pick-me-up than animals

:yeahthat: Where would I be without my animals?

Other pick me uppers are hiking, walking on the pier, or going to a nice restaurant with the hubby.

Hmm....
I guess I may be the only one that has this happen (Does it mean I'm a bad person? :? ) but whenever I'm really sad or stressed, my animals just try to stress me out more. (They attack me??) My mother's parrot even goes as far as to fly on me and starts trying to bite my face and eyes if I'm crying and she's in the room. Haha, maybe she was trying to say "Pain? You don't know pain!!" :p

But actually, scents work really nicely on me. If I'm stressed and I smell my deoderant stick (Which is a sweet strawberry smell) I can actually feel my muscles relaxing. It works pretty well with most fruit smells (More so if they're particularly sweet). Vanilla is alright, but not as effective.
Lavendar is supposed to be proven to calm people and animals down, but.... I don't really like how it smells? Haha. It's too sharp. It kinda hurts my nose.

I guess that's mostly it for me :p
