what's your favorite dessert recipe?

My aunt and uncle will be in town on Tuesday night and are coming to our apartment for dessert. I'm planning on making raspberry lemonade to drink, but I can't think of what dessert to prepare since there are SO MANY!

Does anyone have any great dessert recipes to share with me? Ideally a cake or trifle or bar or something, not cookies or candy (as much as I love them). Thanks!

How about something simple and summery like vanilla ice cream served with fresh strawberries and blueberries?

A lady at work makes "Magic Bars" whenever someone has a birthday. They are AMAZING. They do have coconut, but you seriously can't even taste them. They have a really nice texture and the chocolate is creamy and yummy!

ETA: I don't think she uses semi-sweet chocolate....she uses just regular chocolate chips. You could even do butterscotch, white chocolate, or peanut butter chips and I think it would still taste just as good!

I just made a dessert for the 4th. Everyone loved it. I don't know what you call it.



I made my own graham cracker crust with smashed graham crackers and butter. Then I make instant choc pudding. Let that set up for 10 min. Then I had layers to the crust of Choc pudding, cool whip and whole graham crackers. Make a couple layers. And it's fast to make. ....April

They look so good. I'm also going to make cranberry iced tea instead of raspberry lemonade since lemonade is so sweet and we'll already be having dessert
