I just noticed he rarely hops but walks like a dog and sometimes he twitches and I hear a sound like a bone popping.. he is only 8 weeks old. There is also a bald spot behind his neck, I got him like this. My poor baby :(

How long have you had the bunny and from where did you get him? I would have him see a vet ASAP. Twitching and popping noises are not normal. Well, sometimes a binky looks like twitching but the noise bothers me. If it happens while he's moving or as part of his breathing it could be a serious health problem.

I just noticed .. he doesn't twitch when he's in his cage .. I got him from a breeder .. he does binkies in his cage and hops around and runs .. he seems like a happu bun but when I took him out yesterday he seemed different

I seriously think you should take him to the vet and just have them take a look. When Flynn dislocated her leg, the only real sign of it was she didn't eat as much the first day she did it (Her appetite actually went right back to normal after a day or so) and she favored her leg. She still wanted to run, binky, the whole bit.

I would get x-rays done, you need to act fast with dislocation since the longer it's out of socket, the harder it is to pop back in and then you have a much larger bill on your hands when you start getting in alternatives like I did (We wound up needing to have an FHO done, Flynn is now a $2000 bunny).

Yeah, he should see a vet ASAP. Being that he's a young guy (based on the pic), he can probably recover well from an injury as long as it has been diagnosed and the right course of action taken. X-rays are definitely called for.

The walking like a dog and not hopping is not unusual-Ripley did this for a long time and still sometimes walks instead of all out hopping. But, maybe you could make and upload a video? As for the twitching/bone popping sound, I'm not sure, you probably do want to see a vet about that. Is it loud or anything?
I might also contac the breeder if that's where you got him, and ask them some questions about if anything happend, what could be going on, and if others bunnies have displayed this.

I have a friend with a bunny that 'walked like a dog' and it turned out she had a slipped disc. Whether or not the breeder has seen this before, you need to see a specialized vet and have an xray taken. Baby bunnies should be hopping non-stop.

I agree that sometimes normal bunnies do walk instead of hop, but it's not normal to never hop and only walk. Did you get a chance to see a vet?
