I had a good site saved that covered bunny behavior but when my husband was cleaning up our 'puter he disapperaed it.
My husband is the petter. As soon as he walks into the room Thumper runs to him and the moment my husband touches him he lays down and gets comfy for his petting.

He will lay down when I pet him as well but I have to pet for a few minutes before he will lay down and get comfy. Maily though, I am the player. When Thumper is being active he loves to chase me around or have me chase him. We go back and forth. As soon as I walk into the room he dashes up to me and starts running circles around me and will keep doing so until I give chase or run from him.

Sometimes though I will just stand still or walk (if I'm going in the room to do something other that play with the Fluffy Butt). When I do this he will run circles around me and between my feet. After a little while he will start sniffing my legs at about his head height and then will rub the side of his face against my leg. He will rub his face pretty forcefully.

What is the behavior he is doing when he rubs his face and why is he doing it? I know it is not chinning and at times he gets pretty darn persistent with it. He is not neutered as he does not do any of those problem behaviors that would lead me to having him neutered.

All of the behaviors he is doing is most likely because he is not neutered. He is "flirting" with you, so to speak, in bunny language. The running and circling is not play behavior, it is his hormones talking. The rubbing your leg could be chinning or marking you or simply a mating behavior to get your attention.

He might not have problem behaviors as far as spraying or humping but these are definite signs that you may want to consider a neuter.

:yeahthat: Twigs does the same thing to my daughter. But he will take it all the way (if you know what I mean) when she is sitting on the ground. She knows not to let him "vibrate" on her leg.

Yup, I agree with the others. You are definitely the object of his amorous affection.

It also sounds like your husband is the "top bun" and Thumper knows it. That's why he immediately submits when hubby pets him.
