Hello, I just joined.
I have two rabbits, a dutch and a new zealand white. Both are does and around a year and a half, but otherwise very different. Celeste, the nz white, is huge and aggressive. She was raised with plenty of attention, so she's friendly toward people, but my dog is terrified of her lol. I got her from a pet store when she was about eight weeks (after going through tons of local breeders and not liking any of them).
I don't have many good pictures of her, she moves so much...

I've had Lucy, the Dutch since this spring, I was at a chicken sale looking for a show rabbit, and again I found I really wasn't fond of the breeders. So I decided not to get one. On the way out this pretty little girl caught my eye. Turns out she was a classroom pet and with school ending she needed somewhere to go. I'm not sure of the whole story, but I think the man selling her had bred her as well. Anyway, I picked her up and she just flopped over in my arms. I was sold!
She really is the sweetest little thing.

I have quite a few other pets (I live on a small farm), but I think I'll leave it at these two.
Nice to meet you!

Hi welcome to RO. You have two very pretty bunnies.

Is Celeste fixed? That may help with the aggression. Are the two bonded?

Looking forward to more stories and pictures of your 2 beauties.

Susan:)

Welcome to the forum! Your girls are soooo pretty :)

You said you live on a farm, what other animals do you have? I love a good trip to the country :D

Thanks you guys!
Celeste isn't spayed, there aren't really vets in my area who do it, and I don't have the money laying around at the moment. I would like to get her and Lucy spayed at some point, though. (My mother is the one who buys food and bedding and necessities, anything else I buy)
They aren't bonded. I don't know much about the process and with the size difference... I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt.
And I have chickens and goats, but am hoping to expand a little. Hopefully I'll be able to add some sheep in the spring.
