...bites cats??? This is the vicious cateater...all 3.5 pounds of her. While I was sitting here shetook out my 20 pound cat and sent her scurrying for the basement.

What can I do to get her to leave the cats alone??? I havetried locking them in a room together...they just sleep. Ihave tried petting them together, they just sit there! Ithink my rabbit has another personality in there somewhere that likesto torture cats!!! We thought it might have beenjealousy...but I have noticed she bullys them even when I am notaround!Right now... when she does it I pick her upand she gets a 'timeout' on my lap for 10-15 minutes. Thenafterwards she seems fine...:banghead

What am I doing wrong here!!!???

Any sugestions would be welcome!

Yes she is def spayed...actually all thisbehavior started after the spay...before that the cats and thebunns were the best of friends!!! I have no idea whathappened!

The other bunns are fine...it's just Peppy that has this vendetta against the cats!

Peppy's alter-ego:

I don't know why she attacks the cats.. but Iwould love to know how you got her doit... lol.Mycats poke Daphie in the face and she just cowers. I know she could showthem she's not one to take that... but she won't. They don't hurt her..just ...poke.. poke... poke... QUIT IT!!!... btw that vicious bunny wasfunny!!!

Rabbits and Cats are natural enemies.

Cats run off with baby kits, Rabbits Attack the Cats, Cats attack the Rabbits... it's a vicious cycle. :?

There are however plenty of cases where rabbits and cats will bond - but for the most part, natural instincts will rule. :?

The weird thing...or at least I thought it wasweird. Peppers is the submissive of the threebunns! The other two do nothing to the cats. Myonly thought was that her being submissive...maybe she was trying tomaintain a pecking order with the cats??!! Does that soundplausable??

Hi,

My bun chases the cat too! I have a rabbit book that suggests sprayingthe rabbit with a squirt bottle on the noseand yelling"NO". Im not sure if this works, because my bun doesntactually bite the cats so i havent tried it. But it might beworth a try

I did try this...all I had was wet madrabbit! Honestly nothing bothers this littlebeast!! I guess that's why I love her much!!:D She is a terror but I can'thelp huggingher!! :D

Thanx for the idea though!!
