Last weekend my bunny followed me to the bathroom. I had just moved into this new place and I didn't know the drain wasn't attached to the floor properly and my bunny hopped on it. A little later I noticed something was wrong with his foot and I assumed it was because he hopped on the faulty drain.

Anyway, it's been a week and his foot still hasn't healed. Is there anything I can put on his foot? Or should I take him to the doctor's? He doesn't hop like he is injured, but he does show pain if you touch his wound. He's had a healthy appetite and drinks plenty of water.

Is it mange?? I've never taken him outside and I live in a pretty clean environment.

I would try soaking it in a little epson salts and warm water. Rinse well with clear water after. Put some neuosporin without the pain killer in it on after. Not looking decidely better by Monday take him to vet. Could be a fungus infection from the drain. You could also wrap with a little bit of cotton square and vet wrap to keep the neuosporin on.

It's hard to see in the picture, however rabbits heal quite so if it still looks a bit sore/inflamed after a week then it may need antibiotics. There are probably lots of bacteria in a drain so it may be a small injury that got infected.
