What should a black otter look like?

I think that this may vary by breed, but what should their coloring be like in general.

Popcorn's a black otter lionhead - he's totally different from Peaches who's a pointed white lionhead - Peaches' ears are like a cat's (short) and Popcorn's are more rabbit-like - their face shape is different too and Peaches lost all his mane. Popcorn's still young but he still has his mane - he'll probably lose that too when he sheds his baby fur. His nose is colored as well as half his tail, his belly and his legs/paws are both dark & light. Where does the coloring go on a black otter?
 
Here is my black otter buck. Mane and face shape all has too do with the lines. Most of my lionheads have short ears and round faces. A couple have longer ears and longer faces. They shed theri mane at 5-6 months then their senior mane comes in.
