We're about to move to a one-bedroom apartment to save money, in which our daughter will get the bedroom and we will sleep in the livingroom. Sounds sad, but we'll be able to find one that's big enough that it won't be horrible.
Anyway, Bunny now resides in our room, but will now reside in the livingroom with us. As she and the cats are not yet used to each other, we will have to put her cage on a table (or desk, or some such), and I was thinking of creating a ramp that would be long-lasting and long enough to allow her to safely travel from her cage about three feet up to the floor (as she's been adverse to my picking her up in recent times, so I'm trying to get around doing it).
I've seen sites that do currogated cardboard, but feel that it would get stepped on, and thereby flattened with use. I was hoping to find something that would meet the following criteria:
- be somewhat textured to prevent slippage
- be removable, so the cats wouldn't play with it when she's in her cage for the night
- would have some kind of sides (or ability to attach about 2" sides) to prevent her wanting to jump off the side to the floor.
Any ideas? Do any of you have this? If so, what do you use?
Thanks for your help, guys!
