hello.

this is my bunny Ribbit(what happens when u let a 20 month old name a bunny lol) she is around 5 months old i think. they tried to tell me she is a new zealand.

this is black velvet. this person tried to tell me shes a lion head...

Hmm...Im not sure..They just look like mix breeds..Maybe some NZ in there. :) Pretty bun's though!

Hmm..Is the other one a boy or girl?

Maybe you should post about her in the rabbitry and show thread..Breeders there will be able to help answer some questions about her possible pregnancy :)

Hope this helps

Last time I checked New Zealands didnt come in broken. lol

They both look like mix breed rabbits... and these breeders need a little talking too...

Actually, they're being worked on. One of my best friend raises NZR's, and is in cahoots with some of the broken breeders.

Yup. Butthere aren't any blue otter new zealands. As far as I have seen there are only blacks, whites, and reds, right?

all these colors and names confuse me lol. i had a giantsized white with pink eyes and her mate a greyish rabbit...also a huge lop eared bigger than they should be growing up. never knew their breeds they where just my pets. i just go to CL and see all these ads for flemish giants(from the pics i think my ma and pa bunny growing up where a flemish giant cross) i owned one lionhead and a senior lop who died last year. i found ahome for the lionhead.

Nope, just black, whites, and reds. i've heard blues are being worked on, and I've seen brokens around. But no otters to my knowledge.

However, since both agouti and tan pattern are dominate to self, which is what two of those three colors are, I would assume that a simple cross of a tan patterned middle sized breed, to an NZ could make the otter up there.

I do think the broken looks more agouti than self... But that's personal opinion.

I agree.

hoppybunny13021If you want a bunny that you can show, let us know what breeds you like and we can point you in the right direction.

and sorry about our little sub-discussion. It's breeder jargon.

That is a crazy amount of money. You can get a good show animal without spending that much.

What kind of lop would you want? small, big?

I would suggest a French Lop then. Over 10 pounds at least when full grown, and they don't have a weight limit.
