Just wondering, what are your favorite songs? All time? At the moment?

Favorite band? :trio

I'm going to hold off posting mine until I narrow down the list a bit.

Okay, my favorite holiday song is probably Carolof the Bells, but my favorite song that we're doing in choir at themoment would have to be O Sifuni Mungu.

After the Rolling Stones concert we went to for my dad's birthday, Ican't stop listening to Sympathy for the Devil, my all time favoriteRolling Stones song, not to mention just about all of their othersongs. Such a great band.

Over the summer I fell in love with Daniel Powter as well, and not onlyBad Day, but a bunch of his other songs, mostly after my friend took meto a concert of his.

Finally, a cousin of mine sent two cd's from a German band calledsilbermond, that I absolutely love, even if I can't understandthem.

My favoruite song of all time is Lola by theKinks. Another few favourites are Come on Eileen (Dexy's MidnightRunners), Boogie Nights (Earth Wind and Fire - have it on recordsomewhere!) andIronic (Alanis Morisette)

I have maannnyy favourite bands/singers. So here's a veryyy small list:

Bryan Adams
T.rex (Marc Bolan & T.rex)
Rolling Stones
Dashboard Confessional
Alanis Morisette
Aretha Franklin
Nina Simone
Scissor Sisters

My friend think im odd, as most of the songs i listen to they've nevereven heard of. My Dad always taught me that music is one of the mostimportant things in life. I don't think anyone can say they don't likemusic, or that a song hasn't made them feel something, whether ithappiness or sadness. He also taught me that music should be your ownpersonal thing. Its alright to listen to whats in fashion, but neverforget that there might be a song out there that realy makes you feelsomething, but don't discount it just because your friends don't agreewith it.

Thats why i love older music (i am only 15!) i think a song from 20years ago must have stood the test of time and its proves what a greatsong it is. I bet many people can't remember what was number 1 4 monthsago!
